About that Michael Hastings crash… (Thanks to Travis Holt of LRC)
The death of journalist Michael Hastings in the fiery crash in California while devastating, was more than likely very convenient for those he was writing about.
Let’s look at some of the inconsistencies in this story and why Hastings death may have been something other than an accident.
The high speed, erratic and uncontrolled driving the night of his death according to those who knew him well was completely inconsistent with his normal behavior. In fact, it was opposite his normal behavior.
Eye witnesses on the scene talked of an explosion and flames prior to his car hitting the tree. The engine, actually the entire drivetrain of his new Mercedes, was not only completely detached from the automobile, but was 150 t0 250 feet behind the car after impact. Physics does not explain this scenario, or that it is even possible.
The intensity of the fire according to military experts was far beyond any normal fire, and no explanation by police has been forthcoming. Mercedes has not been contacted by the LAPD even though they have offered to help out in this investigation. A Mercedes spokesman did say that their cars just do not blow up, but in the case of the Hastings crash, it looked more like a staged Hollywood movie explosion.
The LAPD police and fire representatives will not discuss the crash, and have stated to reporters that they are not allowed to speak of this incident. In addition, the LAPD will not release any of their reports, even though they are claiming this was just an accident. What are they hiding?
Just before his death, Michael Hastings allegedly talked with Wikileaks, and told them that he was being investigated by the FBI. Also divulged by a close friend to Fox News was that Hastings was about to break the “biggest story yet,” about the CIA, and that is telling.
What actually happened? Was his car being controlled by cyber means? Was a bomb or incendiary device planted in his car? If so, who was responsible? He had already taken down General Stanley McChrystal, and if he had a bigger story about the CIA, was he targeted for assassination?
There are a myriad of unanswered questions, and many suspicious inconsistencies in this story. The police are not cooperating with the press in any way, but are still standing by their position that this was a simple accident. Why has the police report not been released, and why are both the Los Angeles police and fire departments not allowed to speak on this matter? What agency is controlling the narrative, and is a cover up already in place?
These questions are vitally important, but getting the real truth will be virtually impossible!
