“The truth is, one who seeks to achieve freedom by petitioning those in power to give it to him has already failed, regardless of the response.
To beg for the blessing of “authority” is to accept that the choice is the master’s alone to make, which means that the person is already, by definition, a slave.”

I would normally not attack any individual who I thought was a man of real freedom, but when one has lost his way, and advocates freedom while at the same time applauding the State, he becomes even more dangerous than those he pretends to be against. Hypocrisy at this level is obnoxious. Tom Woods has crossed that line on multiple occasions, and recently (and not so recently) has not only crossed that line, but has fallen into, and knowingly in my opinion, the den of thieves and murderers called the ‘State.’ By advocating dictatorial measures, or more simply put, the end justifies the means attitude, he has become irrelevant and a threat to freedom instead of a protector of it.
In Woods’s article today at Lew Rockwell’s site, LRC, titled, “News Flash: Normal People Just Got Relief,” he is enthusiastically lauding Trump once again for yet another executive order, “Fighting Overcriminalization in Federal Regulations,“ one of his more than 150 just since he took (was given) office on January 20th of this year. In this case, as one can easily assume by the title of Woods’s article, he seems to be ecstatic that the federal government is doing something to protect the common man against tyranny. This is of course, asinine on its very face, as government is always the problem and enemy of the people, and never the solution. Paraphrasing Albert Camus, protecting the welfare of the people, has always been the alibi of tyrants. Government, all government, is only interested in gaining money, power, and control, requiring only the self-interest of the ruling class to be fulfilled.
Woods’ defense of Trump once again is little more than sanctioning extreme executive power by a totalitarian monster like Trump as something of ‘real’ value. In doing so, whether intentionally or not, he is supporting the idea that one man should have the power to create and enforce his will on all. Concerning Woods’s statement about this particular order, he said: “For anyone fearful of the very words “executive order,” I remind you that an order directing federal agencies to do certain things is within the president’s constitutional authority.” This is blind support for executive orders by a president, claiming heinous constitutional ‘authority’ of course, as few if any executive orders are simply targeting “directing federal agencies,” and even if that were the case, all executive orders are purely dictatorial legislating by one man over hundreds of millions. It is totalitarianism exemplified.
Actually, no constitution has any authority whatsoever, as no man has any right to rule over another, regardless of the total bullshit that are voting and elections. No individual has any right over another, therefore no individual or group of individuals, has any right to delegate a right to rule another, as they have not that right themselves.
Apparently, Tom Woods did not read Trump’s executive order, for if he had, he would know that it is meant only to appease his ignorant base, by falsely claiming that he would eliminate bad laws. This order eliminates absolutely nothing, and instead is just filled with useless, childlike language, that is totally misleading, and accomplishes nothing; although it certainly fooled the claimed intellectual, Woods. No surprise there.
This order ‘discourages’ criminal enforcement of regulatory offenses. This order requires each agency, after ‘consultation’ with the attorney general, to provide a list to the Office of Management and Budget. Criminal enforcement of offences not publicly posted is ‘discouraged.’ This order instructs agencies to ‘explore’ adopting a guilty intent. Agencies must publish ‘guidance’ on ‘referring’ violations for criminal enforcement. And this order does ‘not’ apply to any ‘immigration law’ enforcement or ‘national security.’ In other words, this is ridiculous double-speak, and totally bogus, as it does absolutely nothing to eliminate fraudulent laws prosecuting people for non-crimes, and there are over a million (no one knows how many) ‘laws’ and almost all are illegitimate. Trump states here in this worthless order that the Code of Federal Regulations is too vast for anyone to comprehend, but does not eliminate ………
